Dominic Mills

Dominic is the firm's Managing Director, having qualified as a solicitor in 1982, and he specialises in Trusts, Tax Planning, Succession Planning, Wills, Probate, and Powers of Attorney, with a particular interest in Wills and Estates involving more than one country.

Dominic was for 22 years a partner and Head of the Private Client Department in the solicitors’ firm of Borneos (previously known as Borneo Martell and Borneo Linnells), and set up the firm of Dominic Mills & Co in 2012.

Since he set up the firm, Dominic is very pleased to have been joined by Ken Borneo (the former senior partner of Borneos) and by Giulia, Helen, Karen, Madeleine, Steven and Teresa – all of whom were part of the Conveyancing and Private Client Departments of Borneos.

Dominic is an Area Representative (and former Trustee) of the Solicitors’ Benevolent Association, and is a committee member of Bedfordshire Law Society and of Bedfordshire Orchestral Society. He is also a member of Bedford Castle Rotary Club.

In his spare time, Dominic enjoys playing clarinet in Bedfordshire Symphony Orchestra and Bedford Sinfonia, and enjoys tennis and badminton. He also enjoys cooking, art and travel – speaking, as he does, French, Italian and Russian.
